Larry Taylor and FOUR Blues recognized in West Side Austin Voice newspaper 

West Side Blues Ambassador Larry Taylor is among West Side leaders noted in the 40th anniversary of the Austin Voice weekly newspaper, along with community activist Brenetta Howell Barrett, mental health leader Donald J. Dew, Congressman Danny K Davis, Ald. Emma Mitts and Rep. La Shawn K. Ford.  The edition celebrated Black History Month and  honored the late Voice editor Brad Cummings. The article noted Larry Taylor's role in FOUR Blues, reviving the culture of West Side  blues.

Blues highlighted by Culture newspaper as part of West Side heritage

Streetwise Magazine features FOUR Blues  

The February 2025 issue of Streetwise featured a three page article on FOUR Blues .  This magazine is sold by street vendors in Chicago  and offers articles on urban issues, sports and entertainment.  Editor Suzanne Hanney interviewed blues musicians Larry Taylor, Tim Taylor, Katherine Davis, and others at FOUR Blues' party Dec. 13, 2024 at St. Martin's Episcopal Church.  Page through Streetwise HERE
